Same way as with any other Windows 7 PC:

Windows says I'll need as much every bit 222 GB to create an image. I don't have annihilation that big. This is the outset computer I've e'er owned that I didn't accept the operating system disc. I've always booted from the operating arrangement disc when I've had a problem or purchased a new hard bulldoze.

Windows says I'll demand as much every bit 222 GB to create an epitome. I don't accept anything that big. This is the first computer I've always owned that I didn't accept the operating system disc.

This is to be expected because Microsoft keeps shipping operating systems that continue organization files and user files on the same partition. It is necessary to take some extra steps to separate the two.

When you get-go launched Windows later purchasing the PC, you were prompted to create a set of recovery DVDs. At that stage 3 disks would have sufficed.

Anyway, a 500 or 1000 GByte disk in a USB case would exist big enough. A 500 GByte disk costs less than $60.00. Alternatively you could order a Factory Restore DVD from Dell. There would be an administrative charge.

I accept a Dell with Windows 7 32 fleck installed (OEM) How do I create recovery discs to use if my hard drive crashes and I install a new hard drive?

You should do so with Dell Fill-in and Recovery:

Note the 32 Bit version of Windows 7 is relatively rarely installed in a home model. Is this the edition which came preinstalled by Dell? Is this a business organization such as a Dell OptiPlex, Dell Breadth, Dell Vostro or Dell Precision?
